A funeral mass will be held on May 3, 2025 at 12 p.m. for Amber Jackson at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Lake Charles, La.  Visitation and Rosary will be at 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Combre Funeral Home, 1200 Mill St, Lake Charles. She passed way in San Diego, Calif.  

Born in New Orleans, La.,  Amber was a cherished member of our family, whose presence brought warmth and love into our lives. She was known for her contagious joyful happiness, kindness and sense of humor, and she touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her,

Amber spent her early years developing a passion for Creole cooking.   She was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where many of her family members made their spiritual home.  She graduated from Austin College in 2014 and went on to pursue a career in IT.

Amber enjoyed exploring local parks on her bicycle and traveling the world with family and friends. Her creativity and enthusiasm were a source of inspiration to all.

Amber is survived by her parents, Pamela and Alfred Jackson of the Woodlands, Texas; her brother, Andrew of Los Angeles, Calif.,  as well as, her boisterous and loving aunties, Roxanne Boxie (Robert), Norma Guillory and Betty Harrison (Donald); her cousins, Wayne, Walter, Will, Stacie, Shelley, Robyn, and Father Boxie all of Lake Charles, La., and her grandfather, Harold Jackson Sr. of el Paso, Texas.  She will be dearly missed, but their spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vera Bushnell Guillory Education Scholarship at McNeese State University, PO Box 91989, Lake Charles, LA 70609 in Amber’s memory.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to all who are mourning the loss of Amber.  May her soul rest in peace, and may we find comfort in the cherished memories we hold dear.
