Lizabeth Marie Perrodin

Lizabeth Marie Perrodin, age 66, of Lake Charles, La. passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
She was born in Kinder, La. on Jan. 31, 1958 to parents, Junius Perrodin and Bertha Bushnell. Marie was raised and graduated from high school in Iowa, La. Afterword she went on to live in Lake Charles, La., where she was a devoted caretaker and grew great bonds with her clients.
She was affectionately known as “Wonder Woman” to her daughters, and “Lil Marie” to most. Although we know that she loved all her daughters equally, there was a special place in her heart for LakeLynn.
Marie was a loving person and very socially outgoing. She never met a stranger. If she met you once, she would remember you forever. She made everyone feel welcomed as a friend.
Marie was sassy, spunky and energetic. She loved Zydeco music, trail rides, exploring the adventures of the casino, and spending time with her family.
She was very faithful to our Catholic religion and upbringing. Marie will truly be missed as she heads to her final Zydeco in the sky.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Ballard and Bertha Ballard and one brother.
Those left to cherish her memories include her children, Michelle Lee (Terry), Tamika Perrodin, Kayla McElfresh (Russell), and LakeLynn Perrodin; her grandchildren, Sgt. Robert Davis Jr, Jonathan Davis, Layla Mulligan, Bentley McElfresh, Skyla McElfresh, and Marley Rougeau; her nine sisters; four brothers, as well as, a host of nieces and nephews. Also her Godchildren; John Bellard, Reana Francois, and George Morris II.
The family will welcome the public for visitation at J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home Chapel of Peace Friday, May 3, 2024 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Henry Catholic Church Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11 a.m.
