Robert Warren Enos, age 91, almost 92, passed away on May 7, 2024, in Baton Rouge, La. He was born on May 20, 1932, in Fall River, Mass. Bob Enos, as he was affectionately known, was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Bob was a Korean War Veteran who served in the Army. He was a dedicated employee, working for Calcasieu Marine National Bank before retiring and later working for the Calcasieu Parish Public Defenders office.
A man of faith, Bob was a member of Maplewood United Methodist Church in Maplewood, Louisiana. He enjoyed a good cigar and a good joke, bringing laughter and joy to those around him.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Kelly Diane Enos Swonson and Tracy Enos McAlpine; his son, Michael Scott Enos; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Manuel Enos; his brother, Richard Enos; and his sister, Patricia Enos.
No funeral services are planned. The family will privately celebrate Bob Enos’s homegoing to join Jesus.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to St. Joseph’s Hospice and The Carpenter House for the love and support they provided. Memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice and The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Bob Enos will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and dedication to his family and community. May he rest in peace.
