Boise Cascade in Oakdale is among several central and northwest Louisiana companies hosting an online resume drop-off event.

The company has partnered with LED FastStart to give job seekers the opportunity to learn more about growing companies in central and northwest Louisiana and apply for open positions.

The event will be held online 4–7 p.m. Wednesday, June 5. Job seekers can register in advance at https://app.brazenconnect.com/events/KExxN/login?utm_medium=Press+Release&utm_source=Press+Release&force_redirect=true&expand_login=false or anytime throughout the event.

Attendees are asked to have a digital copy of their resume available for the event.

Companies from a variety of industries are hiring for a wide range of positions including forklift operator, machinist, electrician, tagger and shipping and receiving clerk.

The following are seeking to fill nearly 40 job openings over the next three months: Boise Cascade, Oakdale; Alliance Compressors, Natchitoches; Global Seamless Tubes & Pipes, Mansfield and Yellawood, Mansura

Using the Brazen online events platform, job seekers will have the opportunity to explore the employers’ online booths, learn more about the companies and apply for open positions. Representatives from Central Louisiana Community and Technical College and Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College will also be available to discuss local education and training opportunities.
