Autism on the Bayou – one of the Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana’s biennial fundraising events – is returning this October, and they are looking for sponsors.

The proceeds from Autism on the Bayou benefits Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana and financially supports the services that it provides local adults on the autism spectrum, said Kylee Olinger, human resources coordinator of Autism Services of SWLA.

“This fundraising event supports our mission and allows us to continue providing housing and 24/7 support services to adults on the autism spectrum.”

She said the funds raised this year will also be used to furnish their new community center with art supplies, technology, sensory toys, games, puzzles and more.

“The vision for our community center is to create a space that allows our clients to freely express their artistic, creative and social abilities through activities.”

 The event takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, October 12 at L’Auberge Casino Resort. Guests should put on their dancing shoes in preparation for the performance by prominent, local cover band The Flamethrowers.

 Corporate sponsorship opportunities are now available for the event in three tiers: Lagniappe, Ca C’est Bon and Fais Do Do.

 Lagniappe is the bronze sponsorship level and costs $2500. It secures on a reserved table of eight and includes a classic party tray and eight drink tickets. Those that purchase a Lagniappe table will have company recognition and promotional signage displayed at the event. Also included is one reserved room at L’auberge for a one-night stay.

 The silver tier is Ca C’est Bon, at $5,000 for one premier reserved table for eight. Guests will snack on a signature party tray and will receive 16 drink tickets. At this tier, guests will receive two reserved rooms at L’auberge for a one-night stay.

Fais Do Do is the gold tier. Guests receive two premier reserved tables of eight, a signature party tray, 32 drink tickets and four reserved rooms at L’auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles.

 For both the silver and gold tiers, post-event company recognition will be available alongside company recognition and signage during the event.

 The deadline for sponsorships is Tuesday, September 12, and the deadline to reserve rooms is Friday, October 7, 2023.

Individual tickets cost $125.
