Cold front expected in SW La. Friday night

Southwest Louisiana will experience an “unseasonably warm” and humid Friday.

The National Weather Service’s Lake Charles office said that will change Friday night when a cold front moves across the area.

A few showers and thunderstorms are possible until the front passes.

The rest of the weekend and the first part of next week is expected to be “very nice fall weather.”
