Westlake man apprehended for possession of stolen goods

News Release

Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s detectives have identified and apprehended a suspect involved in the Theft of a utility trailer, loaded with lawn equipment, that was taken in July 2016 from a residence on Village Cemetary Road, Kinder.  Detectives were able to recover some of the equipment and identify persons responsible for the theft and possession of the stolen goods.  William Ryan Goodwin,32, of 3629 Cayton Road, Westlake was arrested Tuesday in Calcasieu Parish and charged with Possession of stolen things. Goodwin also had an outstanding warrant for Contempt of court.  Goodwin is incarcerated in the parish jail with no bond.
