Special to the American Press

The 14-year-old Calcasieu Parish Alternative Site has been arrested for threatening to bring a gun to the campus and “shoot up the school,” authorities said.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Kim Myers said detectives were notified at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning of the threat.

When detectives spoke with the boy he confirmed he made the threat, Myers said.

He was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and is charged with terrorizing.

CPSO Detectives Sharon Clarke and Tomas Juarez are the lead investigators in the case.””School gun threatMGNonline
