In honor of Military Appreciation Month, Operation Homefront is encouraging people to post words of appreciation for military members using the hashtag #Mission2Honor.

“We just want people to write from their hearts to our servicemen and -women and express their appreciation for what they do,” said group spokesman Stephen Thomas.

The most poignant messages will be included in an upcoming blog on the organization’s website, Thomas said.

May 31 will be the last day to submit messages that will be viewed by via Operation Homefront’s website — www.operationhomefront.org/mission2honor — and Twitter page.
