McNeese Parents and Family Weekend set for Sept. 29-30 

McNeese State University’s annual Parents and Family Weekend will be held Friday, Sept. 29, and Saturday, Sept. 30. Families are invited to campus to experience an exciting weekend of tailgating, a live performance and Cowboy athletics with their students.

On Friday, all are invited to the Cowboy Block Party at Alumni Grove to watch Wayne Toups perform starting at 7 p.m. 

On Saturday, a pre-game tailgate will be held from 3-6 p.m. in the McNeese student body’s exclusive tailgate area on the northeast side of the Legacy Center. The tailgate will be followed by the McNeese vs. Nicholls State football game at 7 p.m. at Cowboy Stadium. 

The registration package for family members costs $45 per person and includes access to all activities, a Parents and Family Weekend shirt and a ticket to the McNeese Football vs. Nicholls game.
