Kenny Fuselier and Company celebrates three decades of excellence

Kenny Fuselier and Company – Early years

For the last 30 years, Kenny Fuselier and Company has built its business — and reputation — on a simple, old-fashioned concept: customer satisfaction. The business began in the ’80s, when carpet was still king.

“Our first store was on South Ryan,” Kenny Fuselier said.

He and his wife, Lucy, continue to serve those first customers, as well second and third generations of those first customers. The store location has changed. It’s now at 3019 Kirkman St. in Lake Charles. However, Kenny and Lucy still offer carpet, plus a seemingly endless flooring product line that includes the latest, long-lasting products as well as tried and true classics.

“We offer every flooring you can think of,” said Kenny Fuselier. “After being in business all this time, people who need flooring know they won’t find a larger selection, better pricing or more responsive customer service anywhere else.”

From the smallest job to the largest, Kenny and Lucy Fuselier make each customer feel valued and appreciated. They also give customers peace of mind.

“We have the expertise and experience to help you get the flooring that’s right for your lifestyle,” said Kenny. “We measure. We install. We make sure you’re satisfied. If you’re the do-it-yourself-and-save-money type, I think you’ll appreciate our cash and carry prices.”Face to Face Dec. 1991

Flooring is only the beginning of products available through Kenny Fuselier and Company. The store also offers:

  • Sink/bath tile surrounds and shower design and installation
  • Window coverings galore
  • Wallpaper and coordinating fabric
  • Awnings for home and business

“We’re a complete decorating center,” said Lucy.

Kenny Fuselier and Company offers an array of natural, glass, and ceramic tile and backsplash treatments. Design and install an entire walk-in shower with the help and products of Kenny Fuselier and Company.

Choose custom shutters, designer roller shades, faux or genuine wood blinds, metal blinds, Roman shades, solar shades, cellular shades, woven wood shades and pleated shades.

Customers love spending tim in the wallpaper and window covering sample room.

“Wallpaper is making a comeback,” said Lucy Fuselier. “Even customers who don’t want to paper an entire house are choosing to do an accent wall or a powder room with a wallpaper that really wows. Customers can order fabrics to make window treatments, drapes and accent pillows that coordinate with the wallpaper.

Kenny Fuselier and Company also has awnings, the perfect solution to beautify the home in a way that makes it more energy efficient and comfortable during Southwest Louisiana’s long, hot summers.

“Awnings can also set a business apart and serve as signage,” said Kenny.New Kirkman store

“Everyone in this organization, from our fantastic sales force to our professionally trained installation crews, shares our commitment to customer satisfaction,” Kenny said. “I’m proud to offer great pricing and detailed installation on quality products, but I am prouder still to know that our success has hinged on the caring and personalized service and attention Lake Charles and surrounding communities have come to expect. We would appreciate the opportunity to bid on your next project.”
