Carbo’s book, “Harry the Snakebird” is based on a true story featuring two children, Marie and Brian, who free an Anhinga (aka a snakebird) at Capitol Lake in Baton Rouge from a littered band binding its beak and causing it to endure starvation.
Several copies of “Harry the Snakebird” will be available for checkout and purchase.
The program is free and open to all ages. A library card is not needed to attend.
