Library invites feedback on resident needs, library priorities

Special to the American Press

Calcasieu Parish Public Library is embarking on a broad-based strategic planning process. This blueprint will help to guide our services, programs, and other priorities over the coming years.

The end goal of this strategic plan is for the Library to serve our community as fully and effectively as possible. That means that your input into the process is important and valued – even if don’t consider yourself a regular user of Calcasieu Parish Public Library and our services.

As means to that end, residents are invited to take this online survey: surveymonkey.com/r/YQSF3C2.

It includes just 16 core questions and, on average, takes 15 minutes to complete. It will remain open through Friday, Aug. 9.

This questionnaire was created and is overseen independently by Library Strategies Consulting Group. Unless you self-identify, no survey responses will be connected to particular individuals in the aggregated reports provided to the staff and governing bodies of Calcasieu Parish Public Library.

For more information, please visit your local library or call (337) 721-7147.
