LC man pleads not guilty to indecent behavior charge

A 48-year-old local man pleaded not guilty in state district court Monday to an indecent behavior with a juvenile charge.

Authorities state that Keith A. Buller exposed himself to and had inappropriate sexual contact with a young girl in 1989, when the victim was about 10.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received the complaint in September 2016 and arrested Buller on Feb. 17.

In a separate case, a grand jury on Sept. 15, 2016, indicted Buller on a charge of aggravated rape stemming from an investigation of inappropriate sexual contact with a different girl on several occasions between 1984 and 1993, starting when the victim was 3. That case is still pending.

Buller’s case management conference on the indecent behavior charge has been set for Aug. 1.
