Former pest control employee arrested for theft from employer

News Release

The Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office, on June 01, 2018, received a complaint of a theft. The complaint was filed by a pest control company regarding a former employee who reportedly kept cash for jobs he completed. The complaint was that Shannon Istre had collected cash payments without the knowledge or consent of the company.

The case was assigned to the Investigations Division and after further investigation a warrant was obtained for Shannon Istre. The warrant was issued for Theft (Between $1,000 and $5,000).

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Istre, for the outstanding warrant, on August 29, 2018. Istre, on August 30, 2018, was transferred and booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail. Bond was set at $5,000 and Istre bonded out this morning.

Arrested Person: SHANNON ISTRE, 34 Years of age, South Avenue, Crowley, Louisiana

Charge: Theft (Between $1,000 and $5,000)
