Arrests follow drug raids in Welsh

WELSH — Jeff Davis Sheriff’s narcotics deputies armed with search warrants conducted raids Thursday on three separate residences in Welsh as part of a joint operation with the Combined Anti Drug Task Force, Homeland Security, Welsh police and Louisiana State Police swat teams.

Warrants were served as 207 North Carter St., 301 North Carter St. and 102 North Carter St., Chief Deputy Chris Ivey said.

Narcotics detectives recovered illegal narcotics from two of the residences and made two arrests.

Reginald Eugene Patterson, 38, was arrested for distribution of a controlled dangerous substance Schedule II, possession of a controlled dangerous substance Schedule II with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and on an outstanding arrest warrant for distribution of controlled dangerous substance Schedule II.

Marijuana and crack cocaine were recovered from Patterson’s residence.

Marques Wayne Hensley, 33, was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant for distribution of controlled dangerous substance Schedule II.

Investigators recovered marijuana, electronic scales and a bag suspected to contain cocaine from Hensley’s residence.

Additional arrests are expected.


 

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Cameron Alen Weber, 26, 116 E. Helen St., Westlake — drug possession; direct contempt of court. Bond: $5,000.

Jack Allen Watson Jr., 30, 430 Scheuffens Road — direct contempt of court; theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000. Bond: $25,000.

Quindell Marie Deville, 60, 128 V.E. Washington Ave. — simple criminal damage to property $500 to $50,000. Bond: $5,000.

Micheal Louis Hickson, 26, 94020 E. Burton St., Sulphur — domestic abuse battery.

Jayron Malik Roscoe, 21, 411 11th St. — two counts possession of marijuana, first offense; two counts prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $8,000.

Billy Joe Meche Jr., 19, 432 Breaux Lane, Sulphur — domestic abuse battery, pregnant victim. 

Julia Octavia Remo, 33, 711 W. 18th St. — simple robbery; simple criminal damage to property from $1,000 but less than $50,000; direct contempt of court. Bond: $7,500.

Nichola Rachquel Golden Patterson, 47, 141 S. Abraham St., Cameron — theft under $750; unauthorized use of an access card under $500. Bond: $5,000.

Ike Demond Fuller, 44, 4451 Presley Park — domestic abuse battery, strangulation; domestic abuse battery.

Robert Anthony Guillory, 38, 111 S. Philbrick St., Iowa, La. — domestic abuse battery; simple battery; disturbing the peace.

Corey James Lapoint, 52, 5747 Topsy-Bel Road, Ragley — possession of marijuana, first offense; six counts drug possession; direct contempt of court; aggravated flight from an officer; two counts possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Jodi Jean Trahan, 27, 2417 Green Briar St. — sale, distribution, or possession of Legend drug without prescription; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; encouraging or contributing to the child delinquency, dependency or neglect. Bond: $5,500.

Amber Chaisson, 39, 899 Theriot Road, Moss Bluff — drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $7,500.

Stacey Lynn Reber, 51, 7109 Robert Road, Bell City — two counts drug possession; possession of a prescription for a CDS and/or Legend drug; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia. Bond: $9,000.
