OBERLIN — A 38-year-old Reeves man is behind bars for allegedly producing child pornography and molestation of a juvenile, according to the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Raymond Charles Fontenot Jr. of Reeves was arrested on five counts of pornography involving juveniles, production of child pornography, 16 counts of video voyeurism and two counts of molestation of a juvenile.

He remains in the Allen Parish jail on a $460,000 bond.

In a news release issued Monday, Allen Parish Sheriff Doug Hebert III said authorities began investigating Fontenot after receiving information in late October about an individual being in possession of child pornography.

Detectives launched an investigation and recovered several photos and videos of child pornography at Fontenot’s residence, he said.
