Ragley man accused of firing gun from SUV in moment of road rage

A 30-year-old Ragley man is accused of firing a gun from his moving SUV at about 7:30 a.m. Friday morning, striking a truck while doing so.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said juveniles were present while Dylan W. Youngblood was firing.

Vincent said Youngblood fled the scene but was quickly apprehended.  He was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with aggravated criminal damage to property; contributing to the delinquency of juveniles during the commission of a crime of violence; illegal use of a weapon by discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle; and illegal use of a weapon by discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.

His bond is still pending.

No injuries have been reported at this time.  The investigation is continuing.
