Lake Charles Police are investigating a theft at a local casino.

Department spokesperson Lt. Brenda Treadway said officers were called to the casino just after midnight July 30 and were told that an hour prior the victim had casino vouchers printed out, sitting upon a machine she was alternately playing.

“Casino surveillance captures an unknown suspect approach the victim and steal the victim’s casino vouchers, valued in excess of several hundreds of dollars,” Treadway said.

Casino photos capture the same suspect at the same local casino within a week after the initial theft.
