Ernie Louis Boudreaux, 80, of Creole, died Tuesday, June 2. Funeral service will be held and livestreamed 11 a.m. today, June 5, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be at Chenier Perdue Cemetery, Creole, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
William “Bill” P. Doherty
William P. Doherty, 84, of Lake Charles, died at 9:12 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2020, in a local care facility with Nina and Billy at his side. Mr. Doherty was born on June 21, 1935, in Waynesboro, Miss. He is a 1952 graduate of Jackson High School where he lettered in football, baseball, basketball and track. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss. There he played football and baseball. He finished his service and became a district service manager for Studebaker Motor Corporation. When Studebaker closed, he started working as a service manager for Daigle McGuiness AMC dealership in Baton Rouge and met his wife. Mr. Doherty then became a service representative for Exxon. In 1971 Mr. Doherty and Mrs. Doherty became proud owners of Harley Davidson of Lake Charles, the oldest Harley Dealership in Louisiana. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, following Billy’s racing, drag racing and spending time at the dealership.
Mr. Doherty is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nina F. Doherty; one son, William “Billy” Doherty, both of Lake Charles, La.; two sisters, Dorothy Moak of Meridian, Miss., June Dugas of Houston, Texas; one brother, Bobby Wayne Doherty of Warner Robins, Ga.
Mr. Doherty was preceded in death by his parents, Doris Hope Doherty and Jim Doherty; one brother, Jim Doherty.
Pallbearers for the service will be Damon Goss, Johnny Hudson, Rennie Benoit, Roger Benoit, David Stutes, Victor Diaz and Joseph Bilbo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. George Arnold, Lester Goss and Lonnie Cooper.
His funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at 12:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday at 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

John Frank
John Frank, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 29, 2020, in his residence. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Terrell Williams, Derek Frank, Monique Frank and Courtney Honore’, all of Lake Charles, La.; and 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Frank Sr.; brothers, Shelton and Earl Frank Jr.; and his beloved daughter, Danielle “Dani” Frank Lemon.
John was born to parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Frank Sr. in Lake Charles, La., on Nov. 23, 1946. He graduated high school in 1964 from W.O Boston and was a proud Panther. He then attended and graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, he moved back home and began working at Consolidated Aluminum for 10 years. He then began working as a salesman at Billy Navarre for 5 years where he obtained salesman of the month award for several months. He returned back to work at Louisiana Pigment another 10 years before he then discovered his passion for teaching. He obtained his certification and began teaching autistic children at Combre Elementary school and in their homes until his retirement in 2018.
John was a loving father and grandfather. He was a very social, active man who loved people and never met a stranger.
Visitation will be at Stevens Funeral Home from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at United Christian Fellowship Church. Burial will be at Combre Memorial Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers please donate to MarchofDimes.org. Everyone is asked to wear a mask.
Edward “Eddy” Gentry
Eddy Gentry, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at home with his family by his side.
He was born Jan. 1, 1953, in Haynesville, La., to Earl Wayne “Pete” and Jeannette “Jenny” Reed Gentry. He lived in Lake Charles since the 7th grade. He worked as a Machinist for Citgo Refining. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons. He was a loving, supportive father who was always willing to help and give advice. He was a prankster who loved having fun with family and friends. He considered his friends to be family.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his beloved wife, Beth; his three sons, Ben Gentry (Tish), Clint “Bubba” Gentry, and Seth Gentry (Jenefer), all of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Jake, Jenna, and Jase Gentry; his stepmother, Betty Taylor Gentry; numerous nieces and nephews, and his brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Mark Clay Gentry, and Michael Wayne Gentry.
His funeral service will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Brian Fitkin will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday evening and will resume on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Cremation will be entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff of Heart of Hospice for their care and compassion during his final days.

Harold James Guillory
Harold James Guillory, 71, of Welsh, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He was born to his late parents, Isom and Nola Guillory on Jan. 24, 1949, in Jennings. He enjoyed building projects and spending time outdoors at his ranch. Harold worked for many years in the oil field as a consultant to various companies. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 52 years, Lettie Guillory; two daughters, Angela Brown and husband Tim of Iowa, La., Laura Guillory of Austin, Texas; along with two grandchildren, Cade Brown and Rachel Brown.
A Celebration of Harold’s life will be held at a later date with the immediate family.

Alida Marie Soileau Leopaul
Alida Marie Soileau Leopaul was born June 6, 1941, to Harris and Mathilda Soileau in Mamou, La.
Alida was a devout and lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Charles where she attended with her children most every Sunday. A firm and determined mother she raised her children with honor, discipline and respect.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her five children, Walter Ceaser of Houston, Texas, Mathilda (Donald) Montgomery of Houston, Texas, Betty (Barry) Williams, Gregory Ceaser of Lake Charles, La., and Cinda (Leopold) Williams of Houston, Texas; her grandsons, Walter Ceaser Jr., Juestin Ceaser, Christian Ceaser, Dillon Ceaser, Sherman Wilson Jr. and LA Williams; her granddaughters, Whitney Mills and Tonya Williams; three sisters, Jessie Lynn Soileau of Mamou, La., Barbara Gibson of Alexandria, La., and Grenda Williams of Garwood, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Alida was married to Joseph W. Ceaser for many years. To this union seven children were born, Joseph Jr. (deceased), Freda Marie Ceaser (deceased), Walter, Mathilda, Betty, Gregory and Cinda. For many years with tenacity, style and grace, she raised her children as a single mother until she met and married Joseph Ray Leopaul in 1982 and they remained married until his death in 2010.
Alida departed this life on May 31, 2020, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harris and Mathilda Soileau; her husband, Joseph Ray Leopaul; her daughter, Freda Marie Ceaser; and her son, Joseph Ceaser Jr.; her brothers, June, Dadlen and Adam Soileau; and her sisters, Perry (Soileau) Guillory and Jessie Mae Mose; and the Love of her life, Coach Henry T. Williams.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020, 8 to 10 a.m at King’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
Betty Lou Madison
Betty Lou Madison, 79, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2020, at Faith Presbyterian Hospice, in Dallas, Texas.
She was born on May 18, 1941, in Lake Charles, La., to Samuel and Ruth Phillips. She was a faithful member and Mother of the Church Woodbury Congregational Christian.
She married Wilman George Madison Sr. on Oct. 18, 1959. She leaves to cherish her memories four sons and one daughter, Wilman George Madison Jr. (Cassandra) of a Lake Elsinore, Calif., Samuel Craig Madison (Retha) of Austin, Texas, Jeffery Paul Madison (Monica) of Desoto, Texas, Stacey Marie Arrant (Anthony) of Mansfield, Texas, Patrick Demone Madison (Destinee) of Grand Prairie, Texas. She also leaves to cherish two sisters-in-law, Serena Frances Lee of Houston, Texas, Lizzie Pentard Stokes; two brothers-in-law, Frankie Welch and Lester Paul Guillory of Franklin, La.; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She lived a blessed life of simple pleasures and to its fullest.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 6, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Combre Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.

Robert Lee Miller Jr.
Robert Lee Miller Jr., 53, a resident of Port Arthur, Texas, passed from this life on May 30, 2020, in the comfort of his home.
“Robby” as he was best known was a man with the faith of Job and believed in his Lord. When he loved, he loved unconditionally and with his whole heart. Mr. Miller was a man who loved music, especially the rattling of the bass, which won him second place in a Dallas Car Audio competition. Robby was totally devoted to his pride and joy, his four sons and granddaughter. He will be truly missed but is no longer suffering.
Robby was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He leaves to cherish his memory his four sons, Blake Miller and wife Lindsey, Ryan Miller, Kaleb Miller and Joshua Miller; his loving parents, Robert Lee Miller Sr. and Judy Simon Miller; sisters, Angie Miller and Mandy Miller Craft; granddaughter, Jacie Nicole Miller; niece, Amanda Emery and husband Ryan; two great nieces, Quinn and Edan Grace Emery; great nephews, Levi and Sam Emery; and Karla Gleason Mack, the mother of his three eldest sons.
Mr. Miller’s cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles. A celebration of Robby’s life will be announced at a later date.

Charles Daniel Predium Sr.
Charles Daniel Predium Sr., “Black,” of Lake Charles, La., passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, in a local hospital.
Mr. Predium was born Aug. 4, 1941, to the late Earstern and Victoria Predium. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles.
His career choice was a cement finisher, but this only complemented his many other talents. Charles was the past master of Golden Chain Masonic Lodge 103. In his spare time, he loved playing his guitar, harmonica, drawing and singing. His hobbies also included fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Sandra Predium; children, Charles Predium II (Gloria), Charlette Eminado (Lumy), Bridgett Turpeau, Terrance James Sr. (Christavia), Francine Aldridge (Jonothan), Markell Predium and Rosanna Ryan; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Linda Cormier; niece Lynette Pitre; and two nephews, Wade and Timmy Cormier; along with a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earstern and Victoria Predium; his sister, Roberta Ann Cormier; his daughter, Vernette “MeMe” Predium; and his son, Ricky Predium.
His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.

Mark Anthony Raines, 53, was born July 7, 1966, in Tampa, Fla., to the late Mary Raines-Candis and Robert Thornton Sr. A native of Tampa, Fla., he resided in Lake Charles for the past (20) years. He attended Tampa Bay Tech High School. Mark worked as a Chief Cook for Trinity Offshore Catering and at Cash Magic Casino in Sulphur, La. He departed this life Friday, April 3, 2020, in his residence. I know he’s reciting his Poetry and Cooking in Heaven.
