Woman accused of accessory after the fact in death of man found on side of road

A 26-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the June 29 death of a Lake Charles man whose body was found on the side of the road.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said deputies were dispatched to the 6700 block of U.S. 90 at about 11 p.m. June 29 in reference to an unresponsive male who was later identified as Kalin J. Stevens, 23.
During the investigation detectives arrested two suspects for the murder of Stevens — Larry J. Bigelow Jr., 22, and Titus T. Tezeno, 22, both of Lake Charles. After conducting interviews with multiple people, detectives also discovered Timmesha N. Porter, 26, of Lake Charles, assisted in concealing evidence related to the crime.

On Tuesday, CPSO detectives conducted a search warrant at Porter’s home at which time she was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with accessory after the fact.
Judge Tony Fazzio set her bond at $150,000.
