ROADWORK: Upcoming road closures across the region

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the following closures on Interstate 10 westbound through 5 a.m. Thursday, April 3: I-10 westbound right lane as well as Exit 27 with the lane closure will begin on the east side of the Calcasieu River Bridge. Motorists attempting to exit I-10 westbound to La. 378, Sampson Street, should continue along I-10 westbound to U.S. 90 exit. Merge onto U.S. 90 then, take the next exit, PPG Drive. At PPG Drive, take the I-10 eastbound entrance ramp to merge on to I-10 Eastbound. Continue along I-10 eastbound to Exit 27, La. 378.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the following closures as part of State Project H.015598 – Interstate 210 Hurricane Laura lighting repairs: The left lane of I-210 eastbound from Mile Marker 1 to Exit 3 will be closed through 4 p.m. today and Thursday and 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday. An 11-foot width restriction is in place for these closures.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces there will be alternating eastbound and westbound single lane closures along La. 82 at both the Grand Chenier Bridge and the Superior Canal Bridge on the following days and times:
Grand Chenier Bridge: Single lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily, starting Monday, April 7, through Sunday, April 13.
Superior Canal Bridge: Single lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. daily, starting Monday, April 14, through Sunday, May 4.
The closure is necessary for work crews to perform bridge repairs associated with State Project H.014549, repairs to Grand Chenier Bridge and Superior Canal Bridge.
