Karen Lynne Wisby Pickett, lovingly known as Grammi, Gran Gran, Mama and Cayenne, passed away in Nacogdoches, Texas on Jan. 8, 2025, at the age of 73 surrounded by family.

Karen was born on Jan. 4, 1952, in Lake Charles, La.  She was a graduate of LaGrange High School.  Karen was retired and living in Nacogdoches, Texas where she spent most of her time cooking or reading and taking care of her grand babies.

If you knew Karen, you knew she could cook like no other human on the planet.  But you also knew she could love like no other.  Her selfless, kind, fun, free spirit and beautiful soul will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
