Jeffrey R. Galloway, 65, loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, a resident of Iowa, La., passed from this life on Jan. 10, 2025.

Jeffrey leaves behind a legacy of unwavering dedication and quiet strength. A proud graduate of Barbe High School, Jeffrey’s commitment to excellence was evident early on and remained a guiding principle throughout his life. For 18 years, Jeffrey devoted his talents to Acme Refrigeration, where his work ethic and expertise were not only recognized but deeply valued. His colleagues will remember him as a man of strong, quiet faith, integrity, and reliability.

His passion for life was matched by his love for music. He found joy in playing bass with local bands, where his rhythm and spirit uplifted many. His musical taste was as classic as his hobbies; he was an ardent fan of rock music, classic cars, and riding his Harley. Jeffrey was a dedicated husband, selflessly and lovingly caring for his wife.

Jeffrey’s memory will be cherished, and his presence deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing this remarkable man. His legacy of love, passion, and dedication will continue to inspire and resonate with those he left behind.

Mr. Galloway is survived by his wife, Darla Galloway; his two children, Stephanie Galloway and Lance Galloway and his wife, Nikki; his parents, Thomas and Gloria Galloway; his brother, Steven Galloway and wife, Deidre; his adoring grandchildren, Mathew Esquivel, Adalyn Galloway, Gage Galloway, and Marit Galloway; his niece, Megan Jarrell; his aunt, Marion Aguillard, and his cousin, Brandon Aguillard.

Visitation will be held on Jan. 16, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Lakeside Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prien Memorial Park.
