A Washington-Marion High School student was arrested Wednesday afternoon.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said deputies were dispatched to the school in reference to a threat.
She said during the investigation deputies were advised that 17-year-old Corey L. Mosely threatened to “shoot up the school” as well as another student.
“After further investigation he was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center as an adult and charged with terrorizing-menacing,” Vincent said.
CPSO Detective Clay Planchard is the lead investigator on this case. The Calcasieu Parish School Board assisted in the investigation.
