SW La. school lunch menus Oct. 14-18

The following menus for Oct. 14-18 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Hot dogs or corndogs, chili cup, French fries, steamed broccoli with cheese, apple, fruit cocktail.

TUESDAY: Beef or pork, rice and gravy, black-eyed peas, steamed carrots, peaches, orange, cinnamon sugar cookie.

WEDNESDAY: Nachos with jalapeno peppers, chili beans, garden salad with tomato and dressing, pears, pineapple tidbits.

THURSDAY: Chicken spaghetti or Cajun chicken pasta, yam patty, creamy coleslaw, banana, grapefruit or plums, chocolate grahams.

FRIDAY: Chicken patties or tenders with gravy, mashed potatoes or baked potato half with shredded cheese cup, navy beans, biscuit, Mandarin oranges, raisins.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Waffles, scrambled eggs, banana, yogurt, graham crackers.

TUESDAY: Ham slice and grits, honey bun, apple, fruit cocktail.

WEDNESDAY: Biscuit and jelly, sausage patty, orange, peaches.

THURSDAY: Cinnamon rolls or bagels and cream cheese, breakfast chicken patty, pears, pineapple tidbits.

FRIDAY: Cinnamon Toast Crunch soft-filled bar or toast with jelly, cheddar cheese stick, banana, blueberries.

MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, potatoes and gravy, carrots, apple.

TUESDAY: Beef burrito, red beans, taco salad cup, fruit cup.

WEDNESDAY: Pigs in a blanket, sweet potato fries, relish tray with dip, peach crisp.

THURSDAY: Chicken spaghetti, green beans, garden salad, mixed fruit, roll.

FRIDAY: Pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, seasoned fries, mixed fruit.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Cereal, toast, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: Blueberry muffins, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Ham and cheese roll, sliced apples.

THURSDAY: Scrambled eggs, toast, orange wedges.

FRIDAY: Chicken biscuit, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Calzones with marinara cup, salad, cucumber slices, sweet peaches with blueberries.

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, fruit cocktail, broccoli and cheese, potato salad, crackers.

FRIDAY: Beefy nachos, salsa, refried beans, applesauce cups.

WEDNESDAY: Pancake on a stick, orange wedges, fruit juices.

WEDNESDAY: Turkey roast, gravy, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, pear halves, roll.

THURSDAY: Cheesy chili mac or lasagna, buttered corn, creamy coleslaw, fruit, garlic bread.

FRIDAY: Corndog, baked beans, oven-baked fries, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: French toast sticks, sausage patty, pear halves.
