Moss Bluff Middle student charged with terrorizing

A 13-year-old Moss Bluff Middle student has been charged with terrorizing.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said at about 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, their office received a call in reference to a threat at the school.
She said the suspect made threats to “be the next school shooter.”
“After further investigation, the subject confirmed that he made this statement,” Vincent said.
The juvenile was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing.
CPSO Detective William Vaughan is the lead investigator on this case.
The Calcasieu Parish School Board assisted CPSO with the investigation.
