Hope Constance Sweeney

Hope Constance Sweeney, 60, of Sulphur, La. passed away in a local care facility surrounded by her loving family. Hope was born on Aug. 4, 1964, in Sulphur, La. to Joseph and Rebecca Vincent. Hope loved being around family and friends the most especially the children in her life. Hope was a very nurturing person with a gentle touch that gave wise counsel to loved ones. She will always be known for her craftiness, quilts and sewing.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 38 years, Ricky Sweeney; four children, Michell Paul Vincent and wife, Audy Watkins, Daniel J. Vincent and wife, Lisa Ann, Ricky Sweeney II and wife, Kaitlin, and Sharie Lynn Parker and husband, Jacob; 12 grandchildren, Mitchell Vincent II, Ember Vincent, Easton Vincent, Daniel J. Vincent II, Devin Vincent, Chloe Vincent, Phoenix Sweeney, Adelina Sweeny, Maisie Sweeney, Breanna Parker, Autumn Parker, and Lynnlee Parker; siblings, Patty Armfield, Holly Badon, and Daniel Vincent.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Conseta Bumgarden and Pamela Vincent.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will resume from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Farquhar cemetery.
