Angela Fay Hood of Westlake, La., passed away peacefully in her hometown on Sept. 12, 2024. She was born to the late Jerry Hood and Martha Hood on Dec. 16, 1971, and she embraced life with a contagious warmth.

Angela, a proud alumnus of Westlake High School, dedicated her life to nurturing her family, especially cherishing her role as a mother to her beloved sons. Known for her easygoing nature, Angela had a knack for conversation, and her ability to forge friendships will remain a testament to her loving spirit.

She leaves behind a legacy of joy and kindness that will be carried forward by her son, Canaan; her devoted mother, Martha; her supportive brother, Kert, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Angela was greeted in her passing by her father, Jerry, and her son, Kaleb Charlton. 

Angela’s cremation has been entrusted to Lakeside Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
