Josselin “Nanny Tootie” Landry, age 72, of Lake Charles, La. passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in her home surrounded by her sisters. 

Tootie was a graduate of Iowa High School. 

She was known by all her family, including nieces and nephews, as Nanny Tootie.  She was a beacon of love and kindness in everyone’s lives. Her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering faith touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Tootie’s loved ones are very grateful for the love and support they have received from all family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in everyone’s hearts. 

Tootie is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lula Jane Landry. 

She is survived by one brother, Delton “Snook” Landry Sr. (Debbie); two sisters, Thelma Lee Furay (Jerry), and Kathleen “Kathy” Landry; seven nephews; four nieces; great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-niece. 

Tootie had chosen to be cremated with no funeral or Celebration of Life. 

The family would like to the thank Heart of Hospice Team for all of the care they gave Josselin.
