Wesley Ames Henry was born July 13, 1993, and passed away July 24, 2024, at the age of 31. Wesley enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and hunting. Wesley was a hard worker and a handyman, he was very creative and always had new ideas. He loved animals and had a passion for helping others in need. He was very proud of his little brother that plays baseball. More than anything, Wesley loved his family.

He is survived by his mother, Billie Henry; father, Dana Henry; stepfather, David Oxley; stepmother, Sally Henry; son, Carter Wilkerson; brother, Jed Ryan Henry; aunts, Joleen Treadway and Darla Henry; maternal grandmother, Faye Derouen; his dog, Bam, along with numerous other family members.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Darafaye Whitehead, and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Potts.

Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, DeQuincy, La.
