Linda Dianne Foster

Linda Dianne Foster, age 78, of Searcy, Ark., passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024. She was beloved by her family and friends.

Linda was a generous and loving woman whose warmth touched everyone she met. She cherished her family, always ensuring they felt loved and supported. From North Little Rock, Ark. to Naples, Fla., and Sulphur, La., she finally made Searcy, Ark. her home, where she lived peacefully for the remainder of her life.

Linda had a love for travel, making beautiful memories in places like France, Ireland, Belgium, Maine, North Carolina, and New York. These trips were a source of great joy and enriched her life deeply. She always had exciting stories of the wonderful places she visited.

Linda was also known for her playful spirit and loved pulling pranks on her family, especially her grandchildren. Her sense of humor brought laughter and joy to the family gatherings, creating cherished memories that will never be forgotten.

In her later years, Linda loved spending time in her sunroom, watching Hallmark movie marathons, reading her Bible, and of course, talking to her friends on her landline. This was her sanctuary, where she found joy and relaxation.

Preceding her in death was her loving husband, A. Bryant Foster; her parents, George Francis and Lyla Maxine (Summers) Gamble, and her sister, Virginia “Ginger” Gamble. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Denise Young and her husband, Rob, of Searcy, Ark.; granddaughter, Blakely Summers “Summer” Young and fiancé, Hunter Williams, of Jonesboro, Ark., and grandson, Brayton Hunter Young of Searcy, Ark.

She is also survived by brothers, Phillip Gamble (Diane) of Littleton, Colo., Stephen Gamble of Sulphur, La., Tim Gamble of DeQuincy, La., and Darrell Gamble of Lebleu Settlement, La.; sisters, Cindy Carr (Rusty) of Sulphur, La., and Connie Herrick (David) of Lake Charles, La.; close cousin, Norma Sue Montgomery of Bemidji, Minn., and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Searcy or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
