During a special board meeting on Tuesday, the Calcasieu Parish School Board selected five finalists to fill the role of superintendent.

The finalists are Frank Max Caldarera II, Owen Clanton, Stanton Lawrence, Tony McCardle and Jason VanMetre.

The final superintendent interviews will take place on Monday, July 8, and Tuesday, July 9. Each candidate will be interviewed publicly for 55 minutes, and in an executive session for up to 30 minutes.

The new CPSB Superintendent will be chosen on Tuesday following the final interview, and contract negotiations will be determined during a special meeting on Thursday, July 11.
