Edward “Eddie” Moss Carmouche Jr.

Edward Moss “Eddie” Carmouche Jr., 73, was born on Sept. 9, 1950, to Edward Moss Carmouche Sr. and Virginia Martin Carmouche.
He attended military school at Schreiner Military School in Kerrville, Texas and returned to Lake Charles to graduate from LaGrange Senior High School in 1968? He attended Louisiana State University. Eddie graduated from the International School of Dealing in Las Vegas, Nev. in Dice and Black Jack. He also obtained a degree from Sowela in residential and commercial electricity. Eddie attended McNeese State University and completed pre-pharmacy and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy at Northeast Louisiana University. He worked between different professions, some electricity, some pharmacy, and some in casinos, both in Las Vegas and in Lake Charles as a dealer, boxman, supervisor, and dice instructor.
Eddie loved sports, exercise, fitness, and gardening.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Pierre and William Paul Carmouche. He is survived by his sisters, Maura Carmouche Mize and Virginia (Vee) Carmouche Walker; sister-in-law, Lili Carmouche Long, and a host of nieces, nephews, and first cousins.
A gathering of family and friends will be held concurrently with his mother, Virginia Carmouche Gayle, on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The family would like to express their grateful appreciation for the compassionate care given their beloved brother to the nurses and staff of Christus St. Patrick Hospital and Harbor Hospice of Lake Charles.
