Harold Marcus Tarou

Harold Marcus Tarou was born on Jan. 9, 1945, to Camille Gabriel and Noelie Pelletier Tarou in Lake Charles, La. He passed away on April 10, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.
Harold was a 1961 graduate of Dequincy High School. After high school, Harold joined the army where he spent 21 years serving our country and served three tours in Vietnam. On Jan. 16, 1965, Harold married the love of his life, Constance. After serving in the army Harold drove trucks for 21 years. He loved to fish and take his grandkids to get icees in the bed of his pickup. Harold enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Harold is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Constance Tarou, and his parents Camille Gabriel and Noelie Pelletier Tarou.
He is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Trace) Tarou Hollis of Anacoco, La., Jennifer (Kenneth) Tarou Davis of Anacoco, La., Bonita (Sidney) Tarou Williams of Natchitoches, La.; brother, I.J (Sandra) Tarou of Sulphur, La.; grandchildren, Angelle (Wade) Utrora of Prairieville, La., Ashley Dicharry of Baton Rouge, La., Megan (Andrew) Davis of Shreveport, La., Aaron (Michala) Davis of Anacoco, La., Emily (Seth) Williams of Conroe, Texas, and Tyler (Abigail) Hollis of Shreveport, La.; great-grandchildren, Ali Zoringue, Audri Zoringue, Tucker Hollis, Amelia Dicharry, Alyson Dicharry, Taylor Hollis, Theodore Hollis, Xavier Davis and Elijah Davis.
