Rollins Joseph Fontenot, age 77, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, after a long battle with Dementia. Rollins was born March 8, 1946 and attended Kinder High School in Kinder, La. and graduated with his Class of “63”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Berna Lou Tate Fontenot and Silton Joseph Fontenot; his wife of 41 years, Marlene Hultman Fontenot; and his daughter, Michelle Fontenot.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Rollins Fontenot II; his brother, Roger Dale Fontenot and wife, Claire; three step-daughters, Susan Adams and her husband, Russell, Sharon Schmidt Martinez, and Cathleen and her husband, Donnie Hitt, various nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Rollins was laid to rest beside his wife in San Antonio, Texas.
