Mary “Belva” (Bergeron) Moore

Mary “Belva” (Bergeron) Moore, 90, of Sulphur, La. passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024. She was born to her late parents, Robert and Eva Bergeron on Jan. 28, 1934 in Church Point, La. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, tending to her garden, and loved to serve others. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She also enjoyed fellowshipping with her church family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Frank Moore; three daughters, Debbie Matte (Weston) of Church Point, La., Jeanne Beadle of Carencro, La., and Rhonda Gaspard of Vinton, La.; 14 grandchildren, Brooke Matte, Jonathan Matte, Megan Leger, Blake Andrepont, Brent Andrepont, Dama Walker, Serena Taylor, Jacob Brinkman, Chasity Vice, Laken Peltier, Lacie Langley, Tori Olson, Fantasia Verma, and Tristan Verma; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Belva is preceded in death by her parents; three children, Kathie Andrepont, Clay Fruge, and Rebel Moore; along with her siblings, J.D. Bergeron, Cecile Venable, Levie Bergeron, and J.B. Bergeron.
A Celebration of Belva’s life will be held at Christian World in Lake Charles, La. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jerry Snider officiating.
