Evelyn Crawford Pauley, 69, of Sulphur passed away Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024. Evelyn was born March 3, 1954 to Jim and Margie Crawford. She enjoyed crocheting, playing gin rummy and bingo, fishing, watching Judge Judy, trips to Houston and the occasional trip to the casino, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of over 52 years, George Pauley Sr.; sons, George Pauley Jr. and Travis Pauley; grandchildren, Austin, Kodi, Carter, and Nova Pauley; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Eliza and Bjorn Pauley; sisters, Mary Crawford, Debbie Pauley and husband, Mike, Donna Kay Westbrook and husband, Kenny, and Pat Crawford and wife, Karen; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jack Pauley; and brothers, Curtis and Bryan Crawford. 

A private graveside service was held Friday, Feb. 9, 2024 in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss led by Hixson’s Celebrant, Jody Barrilleaux. Words of comfort and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Pauley family at www.hixsonfuneral homes.com.
