Letha Leach Griffin, age 91, of Lake Charles, La. went home to her Lord Monday, Jan. 29, 2024.

The family will welcome relatives and friends Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 beginning at 12 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Prien Memorial Park.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rebecca Christensen and husband, Ted; son, Michael Griffin, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 67 years, Charles Griffin, and parents, Thomas and Zelma Leach. 

Also preceding her in death are her siblings, Ray Leach, Elsie Cook, Viola Linscombe, Tommye Bryant and Auty Platt and their spouses. She was also preceded in death by her beloved in-laws, Gordon and Lola Griffin, Ray and Barbara Griffin, and Harold and Carolyn Dowdy.

Letha was extremely involved with her church, Lake Charles First Baptist Church and with the Gideons Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, please donate to missions at Lake Charles First Baptist Church, Gideons International or a charity of your choice. 

The family would like to thank the staffs of Christus St. Patrick Hospital, Resthaven Nursing and Rehab and Heart of Hospice for their loving care.
