The gates of heaven opened on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, to welcome John Timothy Fruge Jr.

John was greeted by his sister, Crystal Gail Fruge, and his grandparents, Addison and Hazel Fruge.

John was born in Lake Charles on Jun. 13, 1981, and lived most of his life in Lake Charles and Sulphur, La.  John graduated from Sulphur High School in 2000.

John is survived by his father, Tim Fruge, Sr. and five paternal aunts and numerous cousins.

Cremation is entrusted with Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.  John’s final resting place is Liberty Cemetery in Elton, La., where his sister and grandparents are buried.
