Lenny James Meche, 62, of Lake Charles, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023.  Lenny was an accomplished outdoorsman and renowned hunting and fishing guide.  He was beloved by everyone who met him.

Lenny is survived his wife, Abida; his mother and stepfather, Jana Cole King and Robert Carey King; his father, George Meche; his daughters, Whitney, Ashley and Jana; his siblings, Angela King Camel (Kevin), Robert Carey King II, Nicole Lindsey King and Catherine King Stream (Gray); his nieces and nephews, Carey and Chloe Camel, Robert King III, Matilda, Lola and King Stream.

Private funeral services under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles will be held at a later date.
