The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Jose Alfredo Hernandez Jr., 43, 1041 Louisa Drive, Sulphur — drug possession; obscenity; disturbing the peace; two counts direct contempt of court. Bond: $8,500.

Stephen Austin Berniard, 47, homeless — obscenity, first offense; two counts entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden; nine counts direct contempt of court.

Joshua CraigLitterial Espree, 33, 304 Orrin St. — theft of a motor vehicle from $5,000 but less than $25,000; direct contempt of court. Bond: $20,000.

Onjelette Victoria Reed, 30, 304 Orrin St. — theft of a motor vehicle from $5,000 but less than $25,000. Bond: $20,000.

Deidrick Jamal Lyons, 40, 2525 Madison St. — aggravated assault with a firearm; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; simple cruelty to animals.

Joseph Chad Tucker, 44, 202 E. Jim Pickens Road No. 1, Sulphur — aggravated flight from an officer; theft of a motor vehicle; proper equipment required on vehicles. Bond: $42,250.

Kilan Martinez Woods, 27, 718 N. Jake St. — no turn signals; switched license plate; drug possession; illegal possession of stolen firearms, first offense; illegal carrying of weapons during commission of a crime or in presence of CDS; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia.

Gregory Paul Scarlatta, 35, 3608 E. Burton St., Sulphur — false imprisonment-offender armed with dangerous weapon; home invasion; illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrument;
