Darlene Lasyone Broussard, age 65, passed away on Sept. 15, 2023. She was born October 27, 1957, in Alexandria, La. to Hermon and Bobbye Lasyone. Darlene graduated from Barbe High School and then pursued her education as a pharmacy technician. She was most recently employed by Brookshire Brothers. She attended New Life Worship Center. Darlene was a dedicated, loving mother first and foremost. She treasured her husband, children, and grandchildren; anyone she met became family to her.

Darlene is survived by her husband John Broussard; her children, Daisha Evans (Chris), Garrett Daigle (Kristina), Jarrett Daigle (Heidi), and Taren Daigle; her sisters, Sharlin Bailey (Ralin), and Kaylan Hickingbottom (Carl); stepbrother, John McGee (Josie); stepsister, Laurie Bourque (Jimmy); stepmother Marion Lasyone; father of her children George A. Daigle, Jr. (Ella); twelve grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Please join us in celebrating her life Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. at New Life Worship center. Service to begin at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made toward the New Life Worship Center Food Pantry.
