Priscilla Ann Ardoin, age 81, of Moss Bluff, La. passed away Sept. 1, 2023 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born April 27, 1942 in Eunice, La. to Lucien and Hazel (Twozin) Ardoin. Priscilla was raised in Basile, La. until age 11. Then moved out of state, returning to Lake Charles, La. in 1956. She was a graduate of Marion High School, class of 1960.  After graduation, she worked at Muller’s Department Store.

Priscilla then married Lewis J. LeBlanc in Oct. 1963 and they lived in Lake Charles until moving to Moss Bluff, La. in 1968. From this union they had two children, Stephanie LeBlanc Buxton and Jared J. LeBlanc.

Priscilla was a homemaker, wife and mother. She retired from CPSB as a School Bus Driver in 2020.

She was a devout Catholic and member of St. Theodore Catholic Church where she was active in the Eucharistic Ministry, Garden Ministry, Bereavement Food Ministry and Church Decor Ministry as well as attending daily mass. Priscilla enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, sewing, a faithful prayer warrior, and loved people.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Stephanie LeBlanc Buxton and her husband Cody of DeQuincy; one son, Jared J. LeBlanc and fiancée Ashley Bertrand of Moss Bluff; nine grandchildren, Blaire Buxton and fiancée Garrett LeBlanc, Kennedy Buxton, Kobey Buxton, Dylan LeBlanc, Bailey LeBlanc, Devin LeBlanc, Mila LeBlanc, Kylie Richmond and Skyla Richmond; three siblings, Jackie Breaux, Patrick Ardoin (Yvette) and Natalie Burnett (Ronnie); numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, Lucien and Hazel Ardoin.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023 beginning at 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023 at St. Theodore Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. officiated by the the Rev. Aubrey Guilbeaux. Burial will be immediately following at New Ritchie Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dylan LeBlanc, Devin LeBlanc, Kobey Buxton, Garrett LeBlanc, Cade Himel, Terrell Breaux.
