Attention, chefs: Warrior Jambalaya Cookoff set for Sept. 30

Cookoff teams are needed for the 2nd Annual Warrior Jambalaya Cookoff to be held Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home in Jennings.
The cookoff will benefit the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home and Veterans Cemetery in Jennings.
The cost to enter is $75 per team.
Teams can cook any kind of jambalaya. Dishes must fee 75 people.
Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place teams.
In addition to the cookout, there will be a corn hole tournament. The entry fee is $20 per two-person teams.
Hamburgers, sausage on a stick, chips, drinks and sweets will also be sold during the event.
