Lakepointe Community Church, formerly known as Lakewood Bible Fellowship, will host a Back-to-School Bash 4-7 pm. Saturday, Aug. 26. The event will take place at the church located at 2520 W. Sale Road. Attendees can enjoy hot dogs, waterslides, pickleball and other outdoor games. The event is free and open to the public.

“We are thrilled to host this back-to-school event for our community,” said Lakepointe Pastor Aaron Terry. “The back-to-school season can be expensive for families buying school supplies, paying school fees and more, so as a church, we want to offer a fun, free day for families to enjoy.”

Lakepointe Community Church meets every Sunday at 10 a.m. with services available in person or streamed through the church Facebook page. Nursery and children’s church is also available each week, and Teen Talk for youth ages 13-18 available the first and third Sunday.
