Two face domestic abuse charges in separate incidents

Two men are facing domestic abuse charges in separate weekend incidents in Jeff Davis Parish where children were present.

Coleman Jude Lacombe, 45, of Lacassine was arrested Friday after sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Community Center Road in Lacassine in reference to a disturbance call.

Dispatchers had received information from a complaint that the husband had physically harmed both his wife and a juvenile child.

Lacombe was located near the residence and placed under arrests on charges of domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.

A second incident of domestic disturbance involving a child occurred Saturday at a residence on Kings Farm Road near Kinder.

The compliant reported that her boyfriend, Gregory James Hill, 44, of Kinder was hitting her. During the call, dispatchers could hear a male voice in the background yelling.

Hill was arrested on charges of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment and domestic abuse battery with strangulation.
