Joyce June Elter, age 87, of Moss Bluff, La. passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. 

Joyce was born to Cecil and Virginia DeFries in Barnsdall, Ok., on June 30, 1936.She was a lifelong resident of Moss Bluff, La. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Lionel Elter; sister, Nelda Judson; and brother, Vernon DeFries.  

Her memory will be cherished by her children, Max LeBoeuf (Susan), Cindy LeBlanc (Hogan), Sharon Bailey; grandchildren, Dustin LeBlanc, Keenan LeBlanc, Joshua Bailey, Kaci Vinson, Shannon LeBoeuf, Thad LeBoeuf, Heather Elter and Luke Elter ; and 12 great grandchildren.

The family will hold a graveside service at a later date.
