Dianna Marie Theriot, 75, of Lake Charles passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at her home.  Dianna was born on Oct. 17, 1947, to Cleve and Rose Duplechain, and was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Charles.

Amongst her greatest times was the time she shared with her children, grandchildren and gatherings of family. She also greatly enjoyed bingo, Cajun music, and dancing. She loved being in church and being in connection with Christian ministry. Dianna’s continuous concern for family affairs and her boisterous personality will be missed. Her love of her family will be most remembered.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Gina Theriot Jory and husband Pete of Baton Rouge; son, Bryan Theriot and wife Bethany of Lake Charles; sister, Carolyn Gayle and husband Buddy; brother, C.J. Duplechain and wife Lee Anna; and four grandchildren.

Dianna was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Gene Theriot.

A time of visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2023, with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, located at 4321 Lake St. Lake Charles, LA 70605.  Cremation arrangements will follow the funeral service and have been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
