A 62-year-old Jennings man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly attempted to run down his neighbor with his truck.

Garland Orillian Deshzow is facing two counts of aggravated assault, criminal trespass and simple criminal damage to property.

Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance call at a residence on Grand Marais Road on Saturday.

The complainant told deputies that her neighbor had attempted to run her over with his truck, according to Chief Deputy Chris Ivey of the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies determined from statements and physical evidence that a vehicle had run into the complaint’s yard and damaged a flower bed and tree near where the complaint was standing, he said.
